Afgestudeerd aan de Amsterdamse Toneelschool in juni 1983.
Heeft sindsdien gespeeld bij vele grote gezelschappen en in diverse vrije producties in Nederland en Vlaanderen: waaronder, het Werkteater, Toneelgroep Amsterdam, het Nationale Toneel, het Ro-theater, de Blauwe Maandag Cie. Stageholding, de Theaterfamilie etc.
Was te zien in verschillende t.v. series, waaronder All Stars, Bitches , de tele-novelle Lotte,en De Hoofdprijs, en films, o.a de Zwarte Meteoor en Broos.
Ze won een Gouden Kalf voor Broos in 1997 ,en de John Kraaykamp musicalaward voor beste vrouwelijke bijrol in Pippi Langkous in 2005, en werd voor dezelfde rol genomineerd in België.
Momenteel speelt ze in "Oog om Oog" een productie van Hummelinck-Stuurman.
Bovendien geeft Lieneke sinds 2001 spelles aan de Frank Sanders' Akademie voor musicaltheater te Amsterdam.
Lieneke Le Roux was born in 1955 in Groningen; the Netherlands.
In 1983 she graduated at the Academy of Dramatic art (de Toneelschool) in Amsterdam.
From that day on she acted in several productions from big theatre companies in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Amongst them: het Werkteater, de Blauwe Maandag Compagnie , het Nationale Toneel, Toneelgroep Amsterdam, het Ro-Theater and Stage Entertainment.
In 2005 she won a John Kraaijkamp Musical award in the category best supporting female part in "Pippi Langkous" and was nominated in Belgium as well.
Besides this, she acted in various drama series and films.
The television series "De Hoofdprijs" was broadcasted in 2009. She played a major part in this series. And in 1997 she won a "gouden Kalf" for her tribute in the film "Broos".
Currently Lieneke is playing a part in "Oog om Oog", a Hummelinck-Stuurman production.
The play is already nominated for the "Toneelpublieksprijs" 2009/2010.
Since 2001 Lieneke is also giving acting lessons at the Frank Sanders'Musicalacademy in Amsterdam.
